Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Plan for fractionated (≥15 treatments) proton beam thoracic radiotherapy with curative intent for lung cancer
- Diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or small cell lung cancer (SCLC)
- Concurrent chemotherapy is allowed but not required
- Previous thoracic radiotherapy is allowed
- Ability to complete study surveys in English or Spanish
- Age 18 years or older
- Concurrent enrollment in other trials is permitted
- Patients using wearable devices or smartphones that monitor physical activity are eligible if they agree to use study-provided devices
- Signed study-specific informed consent prior to entry
You will not qualify if you...
- Ongoing treatment for another cancer expected to affect thoracic radiotherapy toxicity
- Pregnancy or women of childbearing potential and men who are sexually active and unwilling or unable to use medically acceptable contraception
