Evaluation and Analysis of Patient Satisfaction Following Multidisciplinary Complex Assessment in Day Hospital to Improve Oncology Care

This research aims to evaluate patient satisfaction after a multidisciplinary complex assessment conducted in a Day Hospital for adults diagnosed with cancer and scheduled to receive injectable anticancer treatment. The study focuses on understanding how patients feel about this coordinated care approach involving multiple healthcare professionals and its impact on overall quality of care in oncology. The assessment involves consultations with a pharmacist, dietitian, psychologist, social worker, and supportive care providers to identify patient-specific needs and improve care coordination early in the treatment process. All patients undergoing this assessment are invited to complete an anonymous satisfaction questionnaire as part of routine care. Participants will complete the satisfaction questionnaire after their Day Hospital assessment, covering quality of care, interactions with healthcare providers, and organization of services. Researchers will analyze overall satisfaction, satisfaction by specialty, factors influencing satisfaction, and the Net Promoter Score. Results aim to enhance patient-centered oncology care and guide continuous quality improvement until the study ends in April 2029.
