Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Formal diagnosis of Parkinson Disease
You will not qualify if you...
- Known carrier of a GBA variant (GBA positive); these individuals will be referred to RAPSODI study
- History of other types of Parkinsonism such as progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple system atrophy, traumatic or toxic causes, postencephalitic, vascular Parkinson Disease, drug-induced Parkinson Disease, corticobasal degeneration
- Presence of other neurological disorders including dementia, movement disorders, or motor neurone disease
- Use of drugs known to cause parkinsonism, including specific neuroleptic agents and medications such as Bupropion, Lithium, Methyldopa, Metoclopramide, and Sodium Valproate
