You may qualify if you...

  • Clinical diagnosis of swimming induced pulmonary edema (SIPE) needing acute treatment
  • Peripheral oxygen saturation of 92% or higher
  • 18 years or older
  • Provided informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Declined to give consent
  • Suspected acute coronary syndrome
  • Severe asthma with need for beta-agonist inhalation before pulmonary edema treatment
  • Hemodynamic instability or decreased consciousness
