Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of swimming induced pulmonary edema (SIPE) needing acute treatment
- Peripheral oxygen saturation of 92% or higher
- 18 years or older
- Provided informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Declined to give consent
- Suspected acute coronary syndrome
- Severe asthma with need for beta-agonist inhalation before pulmonary edema treatment
- Hemodynamic instability or decreased consciousness
