Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 21-29 years
- Current e-cigarette user (using at least weekly for the past 3 months)
- Willing to provide informed consent and abstain from e-cigarette use for at least 12 hours before each of the four lab sessions
- Able to read and speak English
You will not qualify if you...
- Tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 30 days or hospitalized for COVID-19 in the past 6 months
- Have unstable or significant psychiatric conditions (stable past conditions allowed)
- History of cardiac event or distress within the past 3 months
- Currently pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding (confirmed by urine pregnancy test)
- Experienced serious lung disease or infection (e.g., tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer) in the past 30 days
- Have hemophilia or other bleeding disorders
- Are blind, severely visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or have severe motor disability
