Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Thyroid nodule 1.0 cm or larger
- Indeterminate cytology of the thyroid nodule
- Scheduled for surgery of the thyroid nodule
You will not qualify if you...
- Specimens that do not meet the inclusion criteria
- Fine needle aspiration fixed in formalin or transferred in alcohol-based buffers not following protocol instructions
- RNA extracts
- Patients with ultrasound evidence of malignant cervical adenopathy
