Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Consecutive patients undergoing prostate biopsy for detection of prostate cancer
- Aged 40 to 69 years
- Belong to one of four ethnicity groups: Caucasian, African American, East Asian, or Latino
- PSA level between 2.5 and 10 ng/mL
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous diagnosis of prostate cancer
- Ethnicity not included in Caucasian, African American, East Asian, or Latino groups, including mixed ethnicity
- Any prior PSA test result outside the range of 2.5 to 10 ng/mL
