Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Cigarette smokers who have smoked five or more cigarettes per day for at least one year
- E-cigarette smokers who have used e-cigarettes one or more times per day for at least one year
- Narghile smokers who have used hookah one or more times per day for at least one year
- Ages between 18 and 25 years
- Individuals who smoke only one type of tobacco product
You will not qualify if you...
- Non-smokers
- Individuals older than 25 years
- Dual smokers who use two or more types of tobacco
- Individuals with systemic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, liver problems, or kidney disease
- Individuals who have used antibiotics, steroids, or NSAIDs within the past month
- Individuals who have received periodontal treatment within the last six months
