Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Ability to provide consent and willing, and able to comply with study procedures
- Ability to read and speak English
- For Group I: Documentation of pathogenic or likely pathogenic germline BRCA1 and BRCA2, ATM, or PALB2 genetic mutation
- For Group I: No strong family history of pancreatic cancer (defined as having 61; 1 first-degree or second-degree relative with pancreatic cancer)
- For Group I: Age 65 years old at time of consent
- For Group II: Documentation of pathogenic or likely pathogenic germline BRCA1 and BRCA2, ATM, or PALB2 genetic mutation
- For Group II: Has strong family history of pancreatic cancer (defined as having 61; 1 first-degree or second-degree relative with pancreatic cancer)
- For Group II: Age 65 years old at time of consent (screening generally begins 10 years prior to the earliest pancreatic cancer in the family)
You will not qualify if you...
- Prior or active pancreatic cancer
- Pregnant women are excluded because effects of MRI on developing fetus are unknown
