Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient 18 years or older
- Patient with chronic respiratory insufficiency who has just started non-invasive ventilation in the hospital as per latest guidelines
- Affiliated with the social security scheme
- Patient has signed informed consent to participate in the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Patient refusal to participate
- Patient under guardianship
- Patient under AME scheme
- Patient living more than 40 km from the reference center
- Patient dependent on mechanical ventilation for more than 6 hours daily
- Rapidly or reversible progressive neuromuscular diseases such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Guillain Barré syndrome, or myasthenia
