Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Between 2 days and a maximum of 2 months have passed since the stroke event
- Muscle strength rated 0 to 3 out of 5
- Paralysis or sensorimotor problems of the fingers in one or both hands
- Ability to fit the hand comfortably into the PoRI device
You will not qualify if you...
- Less than 2 days or more than 2 months have passed since the stroke event
- Muscle strength rated 4 to 5 out of 5
- Belonging to vulnerable populations
- Inability of fingers and wrist to stretch to neutral during passive range of motion
