Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Between 2 days and a maximum of 2 months have passed since the stroke event
- Muscle strength of 0-3 out of 5
- Paralysis or sensorimotor function problems of the fingers of one or both hands
- Ability to comfortably fit the hand into the PoRI device
You will not qualify if you...
- Stroke event less than 2 days ago or more than 2 months ago
- Muscle strength of 4-5 out of 5
- Belonging to vulnerable populations
- Inability of fingers and wrist to stretch to neutral during passive range of motion
