Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Between 2 days and a maximum of 2 months have passed since the stroke event
  • Muscle strength of 0-3 out of 5
  • Paralysis or sensorimotor function problems of the fingers of one or both hands
  • Ability to comfortably fit the hand into the PoRI device
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Stroke event less than 2 days ago or more than 2 months ago
  • Muscle strength of 4-5 out of 5
  • Belonging to vulnerable populations
  • Inability of fingers and wrist to stretch to neutral during passive range of motion
