Researchers are evaluating the Vliwazell Pro wound dressing in a post-marketing clinical study to confirm its safety and effectiveness for treating acute and chronic wounds with moderate to very high levels of fluid. The study aims to validate how well the dressing performs during regular use, examining its impact on the wound and surrounding skin condition, including fluid management and odor control. Additionally, satisfaction levels of both healthcare providers and patients with the dressings application will be assessed. Vliwazell Pro is a soft, flexible, and highly absorbent wound dressing designed to manage wound fluid efficiently. It features an inner non-woven layer that spreads the fluid evenly and channels it to an absorbent core, helping to protect the wound area from damage caused by excess moisture. The dressings outer layer shields clothing and bedding, and its high absorbency reduces the need for frequent changes. The study observes routine use of the dressing over a treatment period of two weeks. Participants will be monitored from enrollment through the end of treatment at two weeks. Researchers will assess user satisfaction with fluid management, improvements in wound condition, and safety outcomes such as skin damage, dressing bursting, and compatibility with other wound care products. Patient-reported pain levels and satisfaction will also be measured. The study collects systematic data on these factors to better understand the dressings performance during typical care.
