Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • History of calcaneal fracture
  • Visual Analog Scale (VAS) pain score greater than 5
  • Pain lasting more than 3 months after the fracture
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Other foot conditions causing pain such as plantar fasciitis or heel spur
  • Fractures in bones other than the calcaneus
  • Pregnancy
  • Blood clotting disorders or use of antiplatelet medications
  • Mental illness affecting ability to make decisions
