Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- History of calcaneal fracture
- Visual Analog Scale (VAS) pain score greater than 5
- Pain lasting more than 3 months after the fracture
You will not qualify if you...
- Other foot conditions causing pain such as plantar fasciitis or heel spur
- Fractures in bones other than the calcaneus
- Pregnancy
- Blood clotting disorders or use of antiplatelet medications
- Mental illness affecting ability to make decisions
