Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • 50 to 90 years of age
  • Able to walk 50 meters without any assistive device
  • Able to understand and communicate in English for training and testing
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Uncontrolled cardiovascular or neuromuscular diseases preventing participation in training
  • Presence of systemic inflammatory or autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or serious medical illnesses
  • Unresolved injury or surgery to upper or lower limbs preventing weight training
  • Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score below 18
