Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged from 18 to 80 years
- Diagnosed with non-cardiogenic ischemic stroke confirmed by cranial CT or MRI
- First stroke onset between 1 and 3 months ago
- Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score of 2 or less
- Taking 100 mg aspirin daily for at least 8 days
- Signed informed consent by patient or family member
You will not qualify if you...
- History of recurrent stroke
- History of gastrointestinal bleeding, intracranial hemorrhage, or other bleeding disorders
- Contraindications or intolerance to antiplatelet medications
- Severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney failure, or serious other illnesses such as advanced cancer or organ failure
- Poor compliance or inability to cooperate with the study requirements
