Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children aged 1 month to 16 years
- Patients with septic shock admitted to the PICU during their fluid resuscitative phase
- Septic shock diagnosed according to Phoenix sepsis score 2024
You will not qualify if you...
- Acquired or congenital heart disease
- Acquired or congenital kidney disease
- Vascular anomalies such as arteriovenous malformation or aneurysm
- Suspected intracranial hypertension
- Skin lesions or bandages at sites of ultrasound or echocardiography examinations
- Anatomical anomalies of the neck
