Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Histopathologically confirmed prostate adenocarcinoma
- Age between 30 years and 100 years
- Agree to undergo one of the following treatments: radical prostatectomy, definitive prostate radiotherapy, systemic chemotherapy, or androgen deprivation therapy
- Understand and agree to comply with study procedures, including donating one 50 ml spot urine sample and allowing collection and analysis of clinical information
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of other cancers not curatively treated or disease-free for 3 years or less; genitourinary cancers excluded regardless of disease-free duration
- Severe organ function impairment affecting metabolism or proteomics, such as creatinine over 3.0, HbA1c over 9.0%, symptomatic heart failure, or other metabolic diseases
- Significant infection or inflammation within 8 weeks before biopsy
- Taking medications that substantially affect cell metabolism or proteomics as judged by investigators
- Life expectancy less than 12 months
