Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients aged 16 to 75 years
  • Acute traumatic brain injury presented within 24 hours of trauma
  • Glasgow Coma Scale less than 15
  • Presented in emergency department
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Post cardiac arrest
  • Glasgow Coma Scale equal to 3
  • Associated advanced cervical spine trauma
  • Associated maxillofacial trauma
  • Severe chest trauma
  • Previous neurological disorders
