Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female adult diagnosed with peripheral artery disease (PAD)
- Experiencing leg pain while walking
- Scheduled to have a stent for PAD
- Able to perform exercise safely
- Postmenopausal and not of child bearing capacity
You will not qualify if you...
- Medically unstable patients
- Recent myocardial infarction within 3 months
- Malignancy
- Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (HBA1C 6 mmol/l)
- Alcoholism or other recreational drug use
