PREMEDICAL Study to Collect Patient Symptom Data in Emergency Department Using a Medical Device for Adults 18 and Older

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are conducting an observational study to create a new type of data that enhances the usual patient information collected, such as medical histories and discharge letters. This study focuses on patients in the emergency department aged 18 and older, aiming to see if adding detailed symptom and patient-related data using a tool called XUND can improve outpatient care quality. During the study, selected patients waiting in the emergency department will use a tablet to record their symptoms and answer questions about them. This process is designed to collect enriched information directly from patients to support their medical evaluation. Participants will be asked to provide their symptom details via the tablet while in the emergency department. Researchers will monitor the XUND Symptom Checker results over about one year to assess its impact. The study is observational and will not influence any diagnostic or treatment decisions, with all data collected during the patient journey in the emergency setting.

PREMEDICAL is a Clinical Investigation Aiming to Create a Data Basis That Can be Used to Enrich Information Collected in the Course of the Classic Patient Journey. Patients in the Emergency Department Will be Asked to Answer Patient-related and Symptom-oriented Questions. Minimum Age is 18 Years
