Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Willingness to provide informed consent with a signed and dated form
- Histologically confirmed soft tissue sarcoma of the extremity or trunk
- Male or female aged 18 years or older
- ECOG performance status between 0 and 3
- Meets screening criteria for receiving radiotherapy
- Eligible for wide local excision surgery
- Identified potential barriers to receiving a 5-week course of conventional preoperative radiotherapy, such as concerns about tumor progression or financial and physical burdens of daily treatments
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of distant metastatic disease
- Previous radiation therapy in the planned treatment area
- Receiving treatment for another cancer at the same time
- Women who are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during radiation therapy
- Planned simultaneous chemotherapy and radiation therapy
