Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Planned radical cystectomy with bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy and urinary diversion for bladder cancer
- Age 18 years or older with capacity to consent
- Mobile and not dependent on a walking aid
- Signed informed consent prior to surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- Karnofsky performance status 70% or less
- ASA Physical Status Classification greater than 3
- ASA 1, 2, or 3 with musculoskeletal or central nervous system diseases causing motor or neurological restrictions
- Emergency intervention planned
