Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children aged between 6 months and 5 years
- Showing symptoms of malnutrition such as growth retardation, failure to thrive, lethargy, generalized weakness, xerophthalmia
- Recruited from pediatric outpatient clinics at Faculty of Medicine, Sohag University
- A total of 100 children will be randomly selected
You will not qualify if you...
- Children who have taken anthelmintic, antiprotozoal, purgative, or anti-diarrheal drugs within three weeks prior to stool sampling
