Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Have been stable on permitted medications for at least 4 weeks (medications should not affect sleep or circadian rhythms)
  • Age between 40 and 74 years
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Suspected dementia or a mini-mental state examination score below 24
  • Diagnosis of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or multiple sclerosis
  • Psychiatric disorders including current major depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia
  • Other clinically significant sleep disorders like narcolepsy
  • Currently receiving CPAP or bi-level pressure treatment for obstructive sleep apnea
