Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have been stable on permitted medications for at least 4 weeks (medications should not affect sleep or circadian rhythms)
- Age between 40 and 74 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Suspected dementia or a mini-mental state examination score below 24
- Diagnosis of neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or multiple sclerosis
- Psychiatric disorders including current major depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia
- Other clinically significant sleep disorders like narcolepsy
- Currently receiving CPAP or bi-level pressure treatment for obstructive sleep apnea
