Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must have at least 20 teeth
- Diagnosed with generalized periodontitis
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently undergoing orthodontic treatment
- Used antibiotics or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs within the last three months
- History of valve replacement requiring prophylactic antibiotic coverage
- Pregnant or lactating women
- Received periodontal therapy within the last six months
