Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Non-syndromic complete unilateral cleft lip, alveolus, and palate
  • Age up to 45 days
  • Cleft size more than 5mm between anterior margins of cleft segments
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Infants diagnosed with other congenital malformations
  • Parents refusing NAM treatment
  • Parents unable to attend the clinic every 2 weeks
  • Infants born with other types of clefts such as facial or median clefts
