Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Acute onset within one week
- Age between 18 and 70 years
- Present with pneumonia (pulmonary signs or radiological changes) or influenza-like illness (sudden fever over 38°C plus cough and/or other respiratory symptoms like shortness of breath and systemic symptoms such as fatigue or headache)
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to collect nasal or nasopharyngeal swab, wash, or aspirate due to structural disorder or mental problems
- Psychological problems or unconsciousness preventing cooperation with medical examinations or communication of disease history
