Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients aged 19 years or older
  • Diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome and scheduled for new permanent pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implantation
  • Provided voluntary consent to access medical records and study data during the research
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Persistent or permanent atrial fibrillation
  • Life expectancy less than one year due to other health conditions
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Refusal of active treatment
