Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with submucosal or high-risk mucosal esophageal adenocarcinoma diagnosed in an endoscopic resection specimen by an expert gastrointestinal pathologist
- Signed informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Prior history of high-risk mucosal or T1 submucosal esophageal adenocarcinoma
- Presence of synchronous esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
- Suspicion of lymph node or distant metastasis on EUS, neck ultrasound, or CT scan performed six weeks after endoscopic resection
- Tumor-positive deep resection margin (R1) in the endoscopic resection specimen
- Inability to provide signed informed consent
