Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adult patients aged 18 - 80 years old
- pH-impedance (pH-MII) testing performed while not taking proton pump inhibitors (off PPI)
You will not qualify if you...
- Prior upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showing structural disease except oesophagitis or hiatal hernia
- pH-impedance (pH-MII) recordings incomplete (less than 21 hours)
- pH-impedance (pH-MII) testing performed while taking proton pump inhibitors (on PPI)
- Poor quality tracings preventing clinical interpretation
- Previous esophageal or gastric surgery including anti-reflux procedures
