Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 7 years or older
- Willing and able to provide consent if 18 years or older, or assent with permission from at least one parent if under 18 years
- Diagnosis of multiple sclerosis or related disorders, including a first central nervous system demyelinating episode with positive MRI, or abnormal MRI scans characteristic of MS without clinical symptoms
- For healthy controls: age 7 years or older
- For healthy controls: no known personal history of multiple sclerosis or related disorders
- For healthy controls: no other chronic diseases
- Healthy controls can be family members, unrelated household controls, or from the general population
