Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18-80 years
- Tumor located in the upper stomach or esophagogastric junction with expected curative resection possible by proximal gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy
- Clinical stage T1NxM0 of the upper stomach or EGJ cancer less than 4cm in diameter with esophagus invasion no more than 2cm and no distant metastasis
- Pathological diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma including papillary, tubular, mucinous, poorly cohesive (including signet ring cell), or mixed adenocarcinoma
- Preoperative ECOG performance status of 0 or 1
- Preoperative ASA score of I to III
- Sufficient organ functions
- Written informed consent

History of severe allergic reactions to study medication Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Recent participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days Presence of uncontrolled medical conditions that could affect safety
