Prospective Observational Multicenter Study of Patients With AH and CKD Markers in Kazakhstan (PROGRESS-CKD)
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older at the time of inclusion
- Signed and dated informed consent form according to ICH GCP and local laws
- Established diagnosis of hypertension: systolic blood pressure 40 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure 9 mmHg measured at two different visits
- Laboratory markers of chronic kidney disease (eGFR <60 ml/min/1.73 m2 and/or albuminuria/proteinuria) measured within 12 months before inclusion and persisting at least 3 months without prior CKD diagnosis
- No documented diagnosis of CKD in medical records before inclusion
You will not qualify if you...
- No signed informed consent form for patients in the prospective follow-up group
- Participation in any randomized controlled trial within 3 months before or during this study
- Established diagnosis of type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus
- Diagnosis of symptomatic chronic heart failure (NYHA functional class III-IV)
- Diagnosis of secondary arterial hypertension
