Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Written and signed informed consent
- Histopathologically and/or cytologically newly-diagnosed small cell lung cancer
- Measurable disease on CT scans
- Eligible to receive standard chemotherapy with carboplatin and etoposide
You will not qualify if you...
- Active biopsy-verified second malignancy other than non-melanoma skin cancer or cervical carcinoma in situ
- Prior treatment for any malignant diseases except non-melanoma skin cancer and cervical carcinoma in situ
- Receiving anticoagulation treatment other than acetylsalicylic acid or clopidogrel
- Treatment with any other investigational agent
