Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Meets DSM-5 AUD criteria of at least moderate severity
- Has heavy drinking days or number of drinks meeting study requirements in the past 30 days
- Desires to decrease alcohol consumption
- Has limited lifetime hallucinogen use
You will not qualify if you...
- Has severe or moderate substance use disorder other than alcohol or nicotine in the past 6 months
- Has diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or a first-degree relative with these diagnoses
- Has active suicidal thoughts or serious attempt within the past 3 years
- Is currently pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant
- Has any notable abnormality on ECG, physical exam, or routine medical blood tests
