Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Pulmonary hypertension with mean pulmonary artery pressure > 25 mmHg at rest or > 30 mmHg during exercise
- Signed informed consent and ability to comply with protocol
- Willingness to be available for study visits over 5 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Acute exacerbation in the past 3 months
- Other severe respiratory diseases with major lung damage such as severe bronchiectasis or tuberculosis
- Serious uncontrolled diseases
- Thoracic or abdominal surgery in the last 3 months
- Eye surgery in the last 3 months
- Retinal detachment or myocardial infarction in the last 3 months
- Hospital admission for any cardiac condition in the last month
- Heart rate over 120 beats per minute
- Use of antibacterial chemotherapy for tuberculosis
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
