Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female aged 20 to 45 years
- Nonpregnant females or singleton pregnant females
- No use of estrogen, progesterone, or ovulation-inducing medications in the past six months
You will not qualify if you...
- Active heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or thyroid disease
- Any chronic disease requiring medication
- Smoking, drug abuse, or alcohol abuse
- Psychiatric disorders or impaired cognitive function
- Taking Chinese or Western medicine in the past three months
- Current acute conditions such as gastroenteritis, upper airway infection, or acute asthma attack
