Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis confirmed by orthopedic examination
- Kellgren-Lawrence grades 3 or 4
- Sufficient education to understand study procedures
- Ability to communicate with study staff
- Age over 45 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Cardiovascular, liver, or kidney conditions that may affect participation
- Severe neurological conditions affecting the knee
- Narcotic dependence with opioid use over 3 months and daily oral morphine equivalent above 30 mg
- Severe blood disorders or abnormal blood clotting
- Psychiatric illnesses
- Allergy to study drugs
- Infection or cancer at the treatment site
- Any active systemic infection
- Implanted electronic devices like spinal cord stimulators or pacemakers
