Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18-30 years
- Physically active with Tegner activity level 5 or higher
- No prior lower-limb surgery or major injury
You will not qualify if you...
- Lower limb surgery or significant injury in past 2 years
- Cardiopulmonary, neurological, or psychiatric disorders
- Anxiety about needles or electrical stimulation
- Taking medications affecting neuromuscular or psychological function
- Pregnancy
- Allergy to lidocaine
- Unable to elicit Hoffmann reflex
