Measuring Quality and Outcomes in Patients with Urologic Diseases Using Standard Care

What this Trial Is About

This research aims to collect and analyze a wide range of information from patients with urologic diseases, including uro-oncological and other urological conditions, who receive care at the study sites. The goal is to use advanced neural networks to identify important clinical outcomes by studying a large sample of these patients over time. This observational study is sponsored by Insel Gruppe AG, University Hospital Bern. Participants will receive standard care tailored to their specific urological conditions without any experimental treatments. The study will gather and store detailed patient data in layered databases for analysis. This approach allows researchers to observe real-world treatment effects and patient outcomes without interfering with usual medical care. During the study, participants medical histories and clinical information will be recorded and monitored over 4 to 5 years to evaluate disease-specific primary outcomes. As an observational study, there are no additional interventions or treatments beyond regular care. The study mainly focuses on collecting data to improve understanding and measurement of quality and outcomes in urological patient care.
