This study is a prospective cohort study, and the proposed plan is to recruit 30 patients with radical radiotherapy for renal pelvic ureteral cancer, according to the actual clinical situation, enrolling the same period of time to choose the operation of the elderly, combined with the risk of anaesthesia or regional lymph node metastasis of the patients, initially tentatively set at 60. The patients were divided into the surgery group and radiotherapy group according to the actual choice of treatment. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with uroepithelial carcinoma of the renal pelvis or ureter based on clinical, imaging, histopathology, urocytology, or FISH
  • No distant metastases detected on full screening
  • Unable to undergo surgery due to poor condition, anesthesia risk, or refusal
  • Aged over 70 years, or under 70 with underlying diseases or regional lymph node metastasis preventing surgery
  • Expected survival of at least 6 months
  • Willing and able to follow trial procedures and sign informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous abdominopelvic radiotherapy
  • Serious uncontrolled diseases that affect study adherence or result interpretation
  • Other malignancies within 5 years, except certain treated cancers like thyroid cancer, cervical cancer in situ, basal or squamous cell skin cancer, or breast ductal carcinoma in situ treated by surgery
  • Estimated insufficient adherence to study participation
