Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults at least 40 years old at the time of consent
- Assigned sex at birth used for recruitment
- Resides in the United States
- Has opportunity for at least 30% improvement in primary health outcome
- Peri or post-menopausal women experiencing hot flashes for 3 months or longer
- Willing to take a study product without knowing if it is active or placebo until study end
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
- Unable to provide valid US shipping address and mobile phone
- Currently enrolled in another clinical trial
- Heavy drinker (3 or more alcoholic drinks per day)
- Unable to read and understand English at 7th grade level
- Recent or current major illness or surgery posing safety risk
- Diagnosed cardiac dysfunction, liver or kidney disease with safety risk
- NYHA Class III/IV heart failure, atrial fibrillation, uncontrolled arrhythmias, cirrhosis, end-stage liver disease, stage 3b/4 kidney disease, or kidney failure
- Taking medications with moderate or severe interaction risks with study products
- Current use of primary ingredient(s) or similar products to active study products
- Lack of reliable daily internet access
- Currently taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
- Pre-menopausal women
