Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Provided informed consent for radiation and medication before treatment
- Aged between 18 and 70 years, any gender
- Small cell lung cancer confirmed by histopathological or cytological examination
- Presence of distant metastatic lesions, including liver metastasis
- Physical status score (ECOG) between 0 and 2
- Expected survival time longer than 3 months
- Adequate bone marrow function: hemoglobin >90 g/L, platelets >100 x 10^9/L, neutrophils >1.5 x 10^9/L
- Adequate liver function: ALT and AST less than 1.5 times upper limit of normal, total bilirubin less than 1.5 times upper limit
- Adequate kidney function: serum creatinine below 1.5 times upper limit of normal, creatinine clearance over 55 mL/min
- No prior thoracic radiotherapy or surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- History of mental illness
- Presence of other malignancies
- Active infections requiring intravenous antibiotic, antifungal, or antiviral treatments
- Serious cardiovascular diseases including uncontrolled hypertension, unstable angina, recent myocardial infarction within 12 months, or severe arrhythmias
- Poorly controlled diabetes making chemotherapy unsuitable
- History of hepatitis or cirrhosis
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Poor compliance with study requirements
- Investigator judgment that participation is not appropriate
