The purpose of this study is to test a novel, cognitive behavioral treatment strategy to improve social functioning in adults with autism spectrum disorder. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- 18 years of age or older
- Meet autism spectrum disorder diagnostic criteria confirmed by outside evaluation or phone screen information
- Willing to complete screening surveys and outcome measures
- Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS) self-report score of 60 or higher
You will not qualify if you...
- Severe self-injurious or aggressive behaviors, or suicidal or homicidal thoughts or actions within the last 6 months
- Major mood episode, psychotic symptoms, or psychiatric hospitalization within the last 6 months
- History of intellectual disability or low Shipley-2 score
