Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Signed written and voluntary informed consent.
- Histologically confirmed advanced sarcoma, either locally advanced not curable or metastatic.
- Age 18 years or older.
- No prior systemic treatment with palliative intent for advanced sarcoma.
- Performance status of 0 to 2 on the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) scale.
- Life expectancy greater than 6 months.
- Willing and able to complete quality of life questionnaires.
You will not qualify if you...
- Cognitive impairment preventing informed consent or questionnaire completion.
- Need for urgent home support or symptom management through palliative care.
- Currently followed by a palliative care physician.
- Active psychiatric disorder or drug abuse.
- Insufficient English literacy to complete questionnaires.
