Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 12 and 65 years, any gender
- Diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation
- Preoperative MRI showing Pfirrmann grade I or II disc degeneration
- Symptoms not improved after conservative treatment for at least 6 months and significantly affecting life
- Able to cooperate with long-term follow-up and provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of lumbar spondylolisthesis, lumbar instability, or other lumbar diseases
- Previous lumbar spine surgery
- Major physical diseases that prevent tolerating surgery
- Conditions like malnutrition, abnormal bone metabolism, or autoimmune diseases affecting healing
- Unable to attend regular follow-up visits
