Study of Four Dietary Supplements on Stem Cell Activity and Immune Cell Energy in Healthy Adults Aged 18 to 75

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are studying how four different dietary supplement products affect stem cells, immune activation, and mitochondrial function in healthy adults. This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover trial aims to document rapid changes in stem cell surveillance and mitochondrial resilience after consuming these products. The trial is designed to explore acute biological effects within a short timeframe after ingestion. Participants will take each of the four active test products and a placebo in a randomized order over five clinic visits spaced at least one week apart, allowing for a one-week washout between each. Each product and placebo are given as two capsules per visit. The study has four different crossover groups, each with a different order of product administration to compare effects systematically. During each clinic visit, participants will undergo multiple blood draws to measure stem cell trafficking and mitochondrial function in white blood cells at baseline and at 1, 2, and 3 hours after product ingestion. Researchers will assess mitochondrial volume and membrane potential under normal and stressed conditions. The entire study spans approximately five weeks with careful monitoring of diet, exercise, and supplement intake to maintain consistency and accuracy of results.
