Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Able to understand and willing to provide written informed consent
- Aged 30 years or older
- Clinical diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease by UK PD Society Brain Bank (2006) or MDS Clinical Criteria (2015)
- Disease severity stages I-III (Hoehn & Yahr Staging)
- Treated with levodopa/DOPA decarboxylase inhibitors for at least 1 year
- Signs of wearing off or end-of-dose motor fluctuations for less than 2 years
- Starting opicapone treatment as per local guidelines, independent of study participation
You will not qualify if you...
- Parkinsonism other than Parkinson's Disease
- Participation in a clinical trial with investigational drug within last 30 days
- Contraindications to opicapone as per local guidelines
- Meets criteria for dementia according to investigator judgment
- Currently treated with catechol-O-methyl transferase (COMT) inhibitors
