Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients who provide informed consent
- Evidence of virus infection lasting more than six months, such as positive hepatitis C virus RNA, hepatitis B surface antigen, or hepatitis B virus DNA
You will not qualify if you...
- History of serious psychiatric illness including major depression, psychosis, suicide attempts, or hospitalization for mental illness
- Serious diseases affecting heart, lung, kidney, brain, blood, or other vital organs
- Presence of malignant tumors that have not been cured
