Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age from 1 month to 18 years
- Both sexes
- Children admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) with acquired neurological injury
- Children with neurological aftereffects
- Children exposed to brain injury such as traumatic brain injury, cardiac arrest, intracranial hemorrhage, infections, stroke, tumor, or hypoxia, confirmed by neurological exam and MRI
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with no disability or neurological aftereffects
- Patients not suitable for rectal ozone therapy
- Patients with active epilepsy and recurrent seizures
- Children with a family history of degenerative brain conditions
- Children with behavioral problems
